A peek at the real app

The same evening, screen by screen — a quick tour of the actual app, pillar by pillar.

Five pillars of the K–5 evening

The app home is organized the same way: choose a pillar with your child, then open a tool. Homework nights lean on Learn; weekends might be Play and Create; after a hard day, Calm is right there too.

What’s inside each pillar

Tap a pillar to see what’s inside before you open k5 Genie.

Every K–5 evening has room for all five—you decide what tonight needs.

How it works

  1. Choose a pillar with your kid. Learn for homework, Play for a puzzle together, Connect for home language, Calm after a stressful day, or Create when everyone needs something hands-on—not every night looks the same.
  2. Start with whatever you’ve got. Camera, upload, preset, paste, or type—the app favors quick paths so you spend time with your child, not wrestling settings.
  3. Stay side by side, on-screen or on paper. Read aloud, check answers together, breathe through a calm story, or print a page they can finish at the counter.

A real evening might look like…

Homework night

Snap the math sheet

Photograph the workbook page, open Learn, and walk through step-by-step checks together before dinner.

Bilingual reading

English page, home language help

Scan a story from school, translate tricky words, and practice comprehension in the language your family speaks at home.

After a hard day

Reset, then back to it

Run a 30-second Tiny Reset or breathing exercise together, then pick up where you left off—still in one app.

Built for whole evenings—not only homework

Most tools treat the only job as worksheets and grades. In most homes, the same stretch of time also includes brain games, bilingual practice, calming a tough day, or something hands-on to finish at the counter—often in the same hour.

We shaped k5 Genie around Learn, Play, Calm, Connect, and Create so you stay in one trusted place as the night shifts. Same login, fewer tabs, fewer “grab another app” detours—and a layout that mirrors how the real app is organized today.

Made for real after-school time

Homework windows are short. These are the kinds of evenings k5 Genie is built for—fast setup, clear on-screen output, and printables you can hand to a child right away.

“I snapped his fraction sheet on the way home. We had step-by-step checks on screen before we even got to the kitchen table.”
“My daughter reads in English at school. Connect lets us explain the hard words in Hindi and still answer the questions together.”
“When everyone’s fried after school, we do a Tiny Reset first. Then Sudoku or a coloring page—without opening three different apps.”

FAQ

What are the five pillars?
Learn is reading, math, and word practice. Play is puzzles and logic games. Calm is resets, breathing, and gentle stories. Connect supports bilingual and family-language practice. Create is printable coloring and hands-on prompts. You open the same app whether tonight is drills or downtime.
What ages is k5 Genie for?
The tools are designed for kindergarten through fifth grade, with adults (parents, guardians, or teachers) driving the account and the device.
Which devices and browsers work?
Use a recent phone, tablet, or computer with an up-to-date browser such as Safari, Chrome, or Edge. A camera helps for worksheet photos; printing works from the browser's print dialog when you want paper.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Every new account starts with 80 lifetime Genie Points (one pool for text and illustration actions). Points do not refill until you subscribe. Basic, Pro, and Max add monthly Genie Points plus higher daily caps—the same numbers shown on the Subscription page in the app.
What are Genie Points?
Genie Points meter AI-powered actions. Text-style tools typically use about 1 point; image generation uses about 8 points. Paid plans include a monthly allowance and a per-day cap. See Genie Points in the app after you sign in.
Do I have to use AI features?
The product uses AI to interpret what you upload or type and to build practice. You choose when to run a tool; see Privacy for what we collect and why.
Where do I manage billing?
In the app, open Subscription: compare plans, start checkout, see your status, or use the Stripe customer portal link from your receipt.
What about student privacy?
See our Privacy policy. We only ask for what we need to run the tools you choose.
